Hello sdhinternet, the tab is added with the v1.0.1 release and the activity stream types are added in that. Please update to the latest release.

1. Go to your Joomla admin site

2. Go to components->com_communityanswers->configuration

3. Click Third party configuration tab

4. Select component type as JomSocial and enable required activity options.

There is no 3rd party integration tab, the general config only lets you choose avatar and user name
